What is the name your organization?: Center for Heirs' Property Preservation

What type of work does your organization do?: Provides educational, legal and mediation services to low-income individuals who own property in common with their family members (i.e., heirs' property).

What area of the country do you work in?: Six Lowcountry counties of South Carolina

Who do you work with?: Heirs' property owners and nonprofit and for-profit organizations that serve individuals with heirs' property related issues.

What is the main obstacle your organization encounters that prevents you from doing your work most effectively?: Helping the families to construct their family trees

What do you hope to gain from joining the Rural Innovation Network?: Partnership, Rural Issue Dialogue
