We are writing to you because you are involved with community concerns. If you work with rural issues and community development, with the environment, food, agriculture, economic development, education, housing, health and/or other aspects of rural life, perhaps you would like to be a part of the Rural Development Leadership Network, a vital group of activists and community builders from diverse parts of the country. Please help us identify other potential applicants for our program.
Please take a moment to read the attached a flier giving basic information about our field project and study program. Please forward the flier to as many people as appropriate. Through relationships with alternative educational institutions, RDLN participants may earn accredited degrees while remaining actively involved in their activist and community building work. Note that the deadline is December 15, 2008 for participation in the month-long RDLN Rural Development Institute coming up next spring.
