What type of work does your organization do?

Support rural communities with increasing family income, community assets and racial equity in low-wealth community is the rural South. We do this through supporting community-based philanthropic efforts, coaching and facilitation around the realignment of federal funds into local communities, capacity building to strengthen the grassroots infrastructure, training and support around innovative economic alternatives and offsetting isolation through peer learning networks

We rejoiced around 2pm today - phone service - yeah! Learned that ATT&T is finalizing plans to mount a cellular tower in the adjacent neighborhood. If we get water and sewage...then...that will be VERY PROGRESSIVE. There has to be an analogy: telephone:water/sewage:tower:hope:faith!!
